Everything in my refrigerator is gone.

*looks down at his worn tennis shoes, which have quite obviously seen much better days*

At least my shoes pass health and safety. I feel like I should be wearing a hazmat suit just talking to you.

At least when it's time to replace them, I'll have the money to do it. Whatcha have to sell in order to pay for 'um? Ma's dining room table?

*won't admit he only opened them for the free gifts though*

I have an ATM card. And there's nothing wrong with taking a little personal care now and then, Stanley. You should consider that too. Slip it in between shopping for food and buying new shoes.

*drops into a classic boxing position, knees bent and fists out and ready*

"Let's go a round. See who's going an' see who's gone."

*laughs incredulously, looking Kowalski up and down*

"You cannot be serious."

*spreads his hands in a 'WHAT?!' gesture*

"Why not?"

*laughter dies out until an amused smile is fixed on his face. Rests his hands on his waist*

"You wanna fight me? Wanna have another go? For what?"

*is silent as he seems to ponder for the first time. His posture eventually relaxes*

"Yeah, you're right. Lets do pizza instead. Not Fred. Fred can happily grow to himself."

*tilts his head, looking pleased with himself. He would rather eat pizza than Kowalski's fist anyway*

"Only if it's on your dime. Like you said, I'm wearing all my money."

"Can't you like... trade a watch or something?"

*unconsciously covers his wrist*

"No. Can't you like...trade your mouth or something?"

"Nah. Need it to eat."

"I doubt you'd find anyone willing to pay good money for it anyway. Not enough for good pizza."

"Known a couple women who'd disagree."

*smirks* "Just women?"

"Yeah, not going there. And no comments about drivin' the tour bus."

*holds up his palms* "Whatever you say, rentboy. You buying this pizza or what? I think my stomach's started digesting itself."
