I believe she was attempting not to disturb you, Ray. In fact, if I had not been semi-conscious at the time thanks to the effect of the analgesics wearing off, and heard her moving about the room, I doubt I would have been aware of her presence until much later myself.
I'm sorry, Ray. She said she had no desire to wake you, and ... well, you needed your rest, and frankly, considering the varied and strong medications you were under the influence of at the time, I sincerely doubted she or I would have been able to do so.
